Milan have confirmed the signing of Roberto Firmineo, but the Brazilian forward is not expected to be available for Sunday’s Europa League quarter-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Firmino’s agent, Jorge Mendes, confirmed that the striker had been given the all clear to leave the Rossoneri this week after a difficult campaign.

The 27-year-old joined the Rossoners from Brazilian side Corinthians in the summer and has since scored three goals in 13 appearances for the club.
